So here are 4 smartphones in the Nepali market to look at. Note: All the phones are under Rs. 25,000.

  1. Asus Zenfone 2 (2GB version)

Yes, this phone lands on Number 5. This phone is a younger sibling of Asus Zenfone 2 ZE500ML. This 5.0 inch phone (with 720p resolution) is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Launched on June 2015, the samsung galaxy J7 has proved the company is also working on mid-range smartphones, especially with the recent release of high end smartphones like galaxy s6, s6 edge and note 5. The phoe is slightly bigger than it’s younger sibling with screen size of 5.5”” (720p by 1280p of  resolution) shielded with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is powered by Octa- core 1.4GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad- core 1.5GHz processor. Similarly J7 is packed with 13 Megapixel sharp shooter with dual led flash which is capable of taking 1080p videos @30fps and 5 Megapixel front camera with flash.  The memory of the phone is similar to galaxy J5 with 16GB internal storage and external memory expandable upto 128GB. Starting from the display, this phone has an 5” screen with a resolution of 720 by 1280 pixels which is fine in sunlight. The 3rd gen MOTO G is powered by 1.4Ghz Quad-core Cortex-A53 processor alongside 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The phone also comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage but that is a ‘NO-NO’ because the 2GB version is just about a thousand rupee expensive.
