Facebook Reaction Emoji on Every Country!

We all have been wanting that ‘dislike’ button, but since there will probably never be one, Facebook is here with ‘Reactions’ launching it worldwide. The new feature for Facebook’s ubiquitous Like button allows you to respond to posts with emoji, 5 other than like itself.

The best way to think Reactions is as an extension of current like button. Hovering the like button (in PCs) or long pressing (in mobile phones) will open up a panel of six different reactions that you can treat for the post. The first being like, then love, and further followed by ‘haha’, ‘wow’, ‘sad’ and ‘angry’.

“We have been testing Reactions in a few markets since last year, and have received positive feedback so far. Today, we’re excited to offer it to everyone who uses Facebook around the world,” says Facebook Product Manager on the new Reactions.

Since the like button is always not appropriate to use, especially in tragic events, this new feature is exactly what it is for.

“We understand that this is a big change, and want to be thoughtful about rolling this out,” Krug said.
