Guide to build the Ultimate Deck in Clash Royale

how to build the ultimate deck

Spend too much time and yet fail to ace the game?
Here’s how you build the ultimate deck in Clash Royale
We have put hours on Supercell’s all new ‘Clash Royale’ and here are a few (hundred) things we have put together that is vital to win. We are pretty, since you’re reading this article, that you know that your deck and its diversity are your strongest arsenal, thus, we give you a few tips to build your ultimate, yet balanced deck.

Diversity
The most important thing to have is a diverse deck; all epic cards or common cards deck will cost you most of your games, if not all. So, what you need to do is to diversify your deck, with both low and high-costing units. Manage and Maintain an average Elixir Cost, ranging in the 3.5-4.5 range, which is very crucial.

Forbearance
You might force into all attack and spamming units, but that can only take you so far. What you need to completely dominate your opponents is that one perfect attack. So be patient, and take time to build the perfect combo.

Go Chelsea (Defense)
Make sure to have a few tower cards in your deck while building your perfect combo. Defending your castle and towers are equally important as attacking them.

Damage Cards
Point and Splash are the two basic damage cards. Point Damage Card(Musketeer, Mini P.E.K.K.A) centers around damaging one unit at a time and administrates greater damage, where as Splash Cards (Bomber, Valkyrie) splash its attack to damage everyone within its range and the damage is lower. Keep your Point cards to attack (as preferable), while Splash cards are best in defending your own tower. So we advise you to keep both.

Type of Cards
Clash Royale offers two types of cards, range and melee. The stronger are Melee characters and have more HP than most ranged characters. However, Ranged Characters can strike from a greater distance. Have ranged characters for flying enemy characters, as melee do not strike flying units. Thus, having both types of units in your deck can be beneficial.

We recommend to build your own deck with keeping these things in mind. Though we also offer you a helpful guide in the listed below for your reference.

2 point damage cards from:
Barbarians (melee)
Prince (melee)
P.E.K.K.A or Mini P.E.K.K.A (melee)
Musketeer (range)
Skeletons/ Skeleton Army (melee)
Knight (melee)
Spear Goblins (range)
Archers (range)
Minions/Minion Horde (flying range)
Tesla (tower)
X-bow (tower)
Cannon (tower)
Inferno (tower)

3 Splash Damage cards from:
Wizard (range)
Giant Skeleton (melee)
Bomber (range)
Witch (range)
Valkyrie (melee)
Baby Dragon (flying range)
Bomb (tower)
Mortar (spell)
Fireball (spell)
Zap (spell)
Rocket (spell)
Lightning (spell)
Arrows (spell)

At least 2 attacking (air) cards:
Baby Dragon (flying range)
Spear Goblins (range)
Witch (range)
Wizard (range)
Musketeer (range)
Minions/Minion Horde (flying range)
Archers (range)
Tesla (tower)
Inferno (tower)
X-bow (tower)

At least 2 high HP cards from:
Giant Skeleton (melee)
Golem (melee)
Giant (melee)
Prince (melee)
P.E.K.K.A (melee)
Goblin Hut (tower)
Cannon (tower)
Bomb (tower)
Inferno (tower)
X-bow (tower)
Barbarian Hut (tower)

Please remember to keep one spell card for when you need to fend off hordes of units, one defensive structure card to divert opponent’s attention, from two main towers and the castle.

This is just a fair idea of what needs to be done. Try out different units and you can always build your own style of play. Happy Clash Royale.
